I have some of the greatest people in the world for friends. No matter what the reason, if I'm in need, they are there. I know it sounds silly, but just knowing they are there for me, makes even the original problem seem much less important.

Randy Pausch is a man to be admired. He is dying and living. With only a few months to live he embraces life with an attitude many could learn a lot from. In his many years as a professor, this may be his greatest lesson ever taught.

I dropped Raji off at the vet this morning to have her leg amputated. Unfortunately the treatments didn't work well enough to save her leg. She is such a sweet natured dog. I just hate that she is having to go through all this.

If you can send good energy her way, it will be greatly appreciated. I'll post again once she is out of recovery.

If you travel or stay in hotels even once in a great while you have to check this out, and remember it the next time you travel. I was enjoying a great weekend with a little splurge with the kids Friday night and preparations for my and Doc's first batch of mead. Wouldn't you know it, Murphy's Law caught me completely unaware.
