So, the one lead in my downstairs bathroom ceiling seems to be gone. I accidentally left the water on one morning (I've been switching it off at the main unless I was home and genuinely needed it.) and came home expecting a mess in the bathroom. But ... nope. Not so much as a drip. So I left the water on, and I've been watching it. No leak

Ack! Leak! There was a leak! Not lead. I really hope they are not lead. I rather don't want to follow in the footsteps of the Romans. First the lead pipes, and then there's all those Goths at your door...
