My sister has refused to speak to me for about the last month. That has abruptly come to an end tonight, though, and she gave me a call to ask what time dinner was on Sunday. If this is the same sister I remember, then refusing to speak to you might not have been the punishment she thought, unless she was doing it very loudly. The real masters of bitchcraft can do that.

Are her kids driving age? As in, were they going to go without her?

Yep. Same sister you're thinking of. And really, it wasn't a punishment at all... from my perspective, anyway. She has the same mastery of bitchcraft as a 13-year-old, really. Yea verily, the world revolves around her. And if it somehow isn't revolving around her, she resorts to a tantrum or bursting into tears so it will go back to its proper place.

Weirdly I still love her. Don't always like her, but I love her. I just treat her regularly scheduled meltdowns like I would the above, hypothetical 13-year-old. Basically ignore it.

And her kids are both in college now, and have cars. So they could totally just leave her sulky butt home and bring Kraken the pug.
