That was a great fic :D I especially liked the part when they compared Hero to Alfred and the revolutionary war.

Also, how Arthur is not quite ready to talk about the war yet, I think that fit really nicely instead of having them talk it out just yet.

I like to think that Arthur is being slowly healed by Alfred, rather than immediately. And that Alfred is patient enough to understand that Arthur isn't used to expressing himself with words. (the tsundere he is)

Eek, you had me going for a second, when Alfred was all like "Denial issues!" and Arthur was all "Well screw you, maybe!" and I was all "Nyoes, I wanna happy ending ;__;" But it all worked out okay. I liked the way you ended it, on a comfortable point, with a few things still left up to the reader. Great first time fic. =)

Wow, I really, truely enjoyed this fic; every chapter! The fluff was oh so sweet, but my favorite part was how you wrote their relationship, angst and all! I think most USUK fans know that the relationship tends to be a bit on the disfunctional side, but it's sad when so many fics seem to go like this

I feel kind of sad now that this fic is ending. It crept up on me too fast! I'm really glad that they worked out everything in the end; I was getting worried when Alfred started yelling at Arthur about how he wouldn't resolve his issues.
