Well, all six of my plaster molds have failed. One just completely collapsed while drying, which is common, from what I hear. Four developed cracks when I poured pewter in--just the warm up batches, so no big loss. One exploded--but it was still cold, and I was outside. "No Kats were hurt in the explosion of this pewter mold

You mean you didn't have to go to Aikra and say, "Honey, can you help me pick pewter out of my face?"

I'm glad you didn't get hurt and can't wait to see whatever it is you are working on this weekend...I am assuming you're bringing it. :)

I am trying to make little keepsake medallions. Please don't say the "T-word" too loudly! :-) If I get enough done, I will send them with Wulfwen.

Our local group has a demo this weekend, so Akira and I won't be there. (He is freaking out about me using his new BBQ grill to melt pewter on...at least it is not the tailgate grill we had at Pennsic.)
