I raise a glass to her as well. Though I didn't know her, the way you write about her it is obvious to me that she was a remarkable woman to you all. I am sorry for your loss *hugs* Let me know if there's anything I can do.

People spent the weekend asking me if I was excited to be a grandma, but I couldn't explain what I really was feeling. I wasn't excited about this second...after your lovely entry, this is what it is about. When I'm in my end and fading, will X and his sibling or cousins, be there and have THAT story to tell of me?
