I had volunteered to do a camp promo night next Tuesday since the camp director will be out of town at a conference! I picked up all the materials for the evening from the camp director this weekend and was ready to go!
Today, I get back to work after vacation and find out. . .I can't do the promo night because I have parent/teacher conferences from 5-8 PM that night. What stinks about that is that I was very poorly informed (telling me a week ahead of time isn't sufficient when I schedule everything in advance) and now I have to let my other commitment go and let my sister down too (she's so p.oed). It's not like they pay me extra or anything for the extra time and that stinks! Now, I'm rushing around trying to find people to go with my sister in my place and she's mad cause she'll have to do the talking now!
