Amazing. I remember I always used to get in arguments with my science teachers when they warned about attributing human traits to animals. They reduce all this to matters of instinct and learned behavior and what not. They assert that animals can't have love, empathy, and affection in the way that humans.

I find it hard to believe that any of them was ever subject to sloppy doggy kisses
