Writing with deadlines is one of the hardest things about academia. Which is exactly why I decide against the whole teaching/research thing myself. When it comes to careers, finding something that truly fits you and makes you happy is what's most important.

Also, you have great New Year's Resolutions! Good luck!

I hadn't, but I'm going to add it to my reader. :) I will do some serious blog thinning in the next month or so and actually streamline my reading list to something managable.
