I'll email you right now, I need to send a box I've gathered, with medicine, some basics like toiletries, and clothing. Mostly my own, but I have more boxes to follow. I literally just need a contact to send them to.

I'm starting a program called *SISTER CITIES USA* and I'm going to write an article on the relationships that can be built from town to town, person to person. And so you are the first post I saw when I sat down to send this box. Thank you for caring, and for letting us help... We're very happy to know a bit about whoever is comfortable with that, and if they prefer to stay anonymous, I totally understand.

It's a beautiful thing that they've helped animals too! What great people! You can always contact me at http://www.sistawife.com/ or join sister_cities to report any progress with other families we might 'adopt'...

Beanfionn, post their story on www.aidpage.com It is specifically created for that purpose and you/they may get more visibility and better chance. I wish you best of luck!

Have you received the first box for them yet?

We're trying to get a better way to send stuff, or find a cheaper way I guess. We had about 3 boxes of stuff (big boxes) full of clothes and the like, but were shocked and astounded to see how much it would be to ship them and we weren't sure how you'll be carrying the boxes from Florida so we are re-strategizing.

Argh! Sorry for the confusion, we still have so much for them, we're just barely making it ourselves so we need outside help. We'll find it. Hope you're well!

I did actually, and oh my god THANK YOU! Especially that black dress, it's just Melisa's size and right up her alley! Now that FedEx is running down there again, I'm just gonna suck up the cost and send the stuff that way. I'm going to double check with her and see if she's ok with stuff maybe getting sent to her work or something to cut down on shipping costs though (I never thought I'd get the reply I did!). I will definately keep you posted, of course.

It was really hard not to cry when we realized we'd been gathering so much stuff only to not be able to afford a way to get it there! It was sooo expensive... Hence why the housesitter... oh, you know.

I'll figure it out, I have soooo many clothes for them!

I'm working on a plan... there's a church near my house that sends stuff, I'll see if they can connect some dots for me. :D
