Does anyone have any info on the Slidell area?

I've managed to get some info, but I have no idea what's going on or if I might possibly have a home to go back to.

The east of slidell is the worst. My parents and brother live near Northshore mall and that area is in okay shape, I know for a fact. A few trees down and that's it. As for the rest of the area, I don't know.

slidell was on the tv on friday. I wouldn't know about all of it, but what they showed on the tv is in shambles.

Hey girl! Glad to see you got out, I was worried for you. Slidell is pretty bad, but some places did ok. My grandmother lives on Independence off of Robert, and there was no flooding, but MANY trees down on houses, and of course, no power. Where are you?

I'm staying outside of Pineville, but will be heading back to Slidell this week to survey the damage and see if we can stay home soon. I'll be in touch!
