I have to agree that I haven't seen any people on the T.V. taking food or necessities called a looter but as long as they aren't taking weapons who cares. Get those people left behind out of there

actually no, I hadn't helped when I posted that comment. I was tired from preparing to help, which I did. The next morning I went back home (north of the lake) and spent my weekend cutting up trees and distributing supplies

The people of New Orleans need help and all anyone seems to be able to do is second guess and be an arm-chair annalist. I evacuated with my two children to Franklinton to my aunt's house. Her son threw us out when she and her husband left to go get generators and other supplies. I am living and feeding my children thru the kindness of strangers. If you live paycheck to paycheck then keeping a roof over your children's heads is your top priority. I had a very good job, my kids were in a very good public school, and now I have nothing but a car that isn't paid for, car insurance that expires in less than 10 days and a sense of hopelessness for a city that I STILL love. New Orleans had so much to offer, The French Quarter, the French Market, the Flea Market, Saint Louis Cathedral, Jackson Square, and so may more places to go and things to see. Now everyone that lived there must make a heart-wrenching decision, do we stay and wait or do we try to make a start somewhere else and just come back to visit. If you never lived in New
