Aw, poor kitty! Toby had 2 teeth extracted when I had his dental cleaning (he has the perpetual bad breath thing too) and it was MAJORLY EXPENSIVE. I can't imagine what an 8 tooth extraction costs :/

I have to give him antibiotics every 6 months or so because the gum thing keeps flaring up and it makes his gums all red and his breath all stinky. They tried giving it to me in pill form but pill feeding a cat is just the most ludicrous thing you could ask of a human, and made them switch me to liquids.

I love how they get so cuddly and lovey after these traumatic moments. Toby wouldn't let me leave the room without being at my ankles for weeks after. He's still cuddly now cause he's like that, but its definitely not as strong as it was immediately after all the drama.

I think it's the change in closeness/behavior we experience in our relationship with our pets that makes us love them more than we would if they'd always been consistent. Trust earned and fostered is a precious thing.

Aw, kitties... If we don't move, I am so totally getting a kitty. But for Brendan and I, no cat could ever compare to Georgie. *sniff*

I'm sure you figured it out, but that was me. I've never had to log in for over a year, who knows what changed...
