Sometimes, as I walk on my way between where I was and where I'm going, I become inexplicably afraid of falling. For some reason unbeknownst to me, I anticipate a malfunction in my foot, and I can see it tucking behind its counterpart, ceasing their forward progress. My upper half, however, is unaware of the critical meltdown in functions below
