In the days of Ayenee....

With con approaching (with a larp on either side), I've been gaming a lot more than usual. So, curiosity got the better of me and low and behold the WhitePaw site is still up!! Interesting indeed. From there I somehow landed on a page of J.T.'s, though after trying to e-mail him an evil mailer daemon attacked. So I've been thinking about larp....

The last character I converted to open-para rp was Rupa, and finally I got to tell her story. I don't know about larp anymore- with the past three characters I've played, I've written long (okay, probably way too long) histories, and I've gotten little to no response to them IC. It was different when I played Rupa, as I was mainly with Jon and I'd forced him to read her history a thousand times. At least someone knew what was going on. I know I'm not a good writer, but after I've finished a character history (shameless plug) I get too attached to it (I remember Emily was talking about this, but as I have the same problem, I couldn't say much hehe). I'm still not to the point, eh? It's just a different set of attitudes towards the characters. I don't know if larp has enough story for me anymore. And I'm not complaining about larp, and I understand a lot of the problem is my fault (for some reason I still freeze up when the opporunity calls for it, though often it's Ember's reaction), but I feel like something is missing, or lacking. I don't know. I was trying to make a point but... I don't think I can put it into the right words without sounding like a putz. Oh, nevermind, I'll try again later...

Okay, so mainly I'm just curious if anyone I know is still playing open-para-type rp.
