Things have been.... crazy. I've spent the last three days at the hospital, holding my grandmother's hand, who has colon cancer that was just removed. She gets out of ICU today, I hope, because I don't know if I can force myself to talk down that hall too much longer. There's a man with advanced parkinson's, who has a non-recesitate order

She's in a normal room now, everything is fine except her face is puffed up. Yeah, she is very cool. The first thing she said to me in ICU was "Oh Katie! Katie, I'm pretty darned drugged up, Katie", with the largest grin plastered on her face, then said something about a cute doctor. She's so hilarious.
