Katherine, I really respect and value your ability to work things out with me like an adult. I really can't express how much I appreciate this quality in you, since I've done my fair share of idiotic/petty/mean things which I'm sure have affected you, and you and I have always been able to forgive each other like human beings, and admit that everyone makes mistakes sometimes.
That said, I will also put aside my pride (because I have a fair share of it, unfortunately) and anger, and do as you said - try to put this behind us. Because I completely agree that that's the best thing to do at this point. And I'm sure we've all learned something from this, so I hope we'll take those lessons with us and apply them to daily life.
And I completely agree with everything else you've said in your post. I'm sorry that this situation caused so much upset - I'm glad that we can all act like adults and move on with everything, and even take away valuable lessons from this situation.
