Today I got to observe four different surgeries. It was actually really cool! You think you are going to be so grossed out, and that you will faint or freak. Not so when you get in there. You hear the patients talk before the surgery, you realize it's all about people and that it is actually a very humanistic, not dehumanizing profession. Talking

Hmm... I read this before, but didn't post because I couldn't really think of anything to say, but I wanted to say something. I guess I'll just settle for saying this:
I think that your insights into surgery/medicine and its effects on people is very inspiring. Your passion for the field really gets me - thanks for sharing what you could without breaking patient confidentiality! *Hugs*
