Supernatural 9.4

Just a few thoughts I'd like to share. I don't think I have too much to say. Though this really makes me want to read the books in the Oz series. I've always meant to, but never got around to it. (Also the Game of Thrones series is on my to-read list--thanks for the reminder Sam!)

I liked the flashbacks in this episode, though they did go on a tiny bit too long I thought. I thought the pacing was a bit off throughout.

Too bad for the younger MoL though. The older MoL looked familiar--I wonder what I've seen him in?

I did like Dorothy, but I thought she was played a little woodenly some of the episode. But as it went on she got better!

Sam and Dean both get mind controlled this episode. I think this is only the second time that has happened (the siren was the first time.) Great to see two women save the day.

When Charlie got hit I was not expecting her to be dead! But when she was I knew Dean would get Zeke to save her. That scene between Dean and Zeke sort of put me on the Zeke may not have bad intentions side again. It's good that they're keeping the tension of that going.

Sam now has another clue that something is up with Dean! I think this was the most blatant yet. He heard and remembers Dean saying Zeke, and also Zeke just threw Sam back against a wall and let him wake up like that. I suppose Sam will believe that the witch threw him and he hit his head so he won't question the few minutes loss of memory, but things are beginning to add up. I hope Dean tells him and something/one else doesn't reveal it to Sam first. (Either way it will be bad, but it could be WORSE depending on the circumstances of the reveal.)

Though if Sam does realize and Zeke erases some memories again that would be very dark and twisted, but a great move. I just can't wait to see how it all comes out.

Charlie went to Oz with Dorothy! I was not expecting that! But good for her. Though I was expecting her to get in on the secret of Zeke once she confronted Dean. I think that would have slightly eased Dean's burden once someone else knew--though telling anyone before Sam would make Sam's reaction worse once he finds out.

I wonder if Charlie finished setting up the computer to track angels? My first thought was that if they get it working it will show an angel in the bunker and reveal Zeke to Sam---hence possible sabotage from Zeke or Dean on his behalf? Though I don't know if the computer can pinpoint that exactly--if they get it working more like a modern computer (and Charlie has one attached...) then maybe.

I did like how the key was something Dean had seen before that was shot in an earlier episode! Though I doubt they had these plans for it then (but who knows?). But it's good they take advantage of things like that.

Probably much more to talk about, but that's all for now.

I can't wait to see more!
