What do you do when your world starts feeling so dark? In all the years I have been writing here. Through all the heartbreak, in all the tears, in all the moments I didn't think I would survive, in all that darkness.. there was always something that gave me some kind of light, some kind of hope for better ( Read more... )

He is possibly not Real to you. Those who seek Him with all their heart shall find Him. Also, you must believe (Real) that He is, and He is a rewarder of those that seek Him. I have been through where you are, and you need to look to Him as your lover. It is hard to think that way, for we see all our mess trailing behind like Marley's cashboxes, but He is enchanted by you! Yes, you, Kristin! Let me do a little research... I will get back to you...

You, as I, are steering by feelings. The world is full of "perfect romances" where one is "loved" perfectly. Truth is, only Christ knows us so, and loves us perfectly. You feel unlovable, even though He (and I.to an imperfect extent) loves you, because the perfect relationship cues are not there. The thing is, that is not Love. That is romance, which is grand - inspired the Song of Songs - but it, while to be desired, is not love which hangs in there... which is what your kids need, too! They are with you, they see your struggles, and are for you, but they need to see you persevere, and overcome - otherwise, what will they do when their lives get enmeshed and tangled, and they want to give up? Your mission - it will be for life!

You don't have joy because He is not REAL to you... like when we had imaginary friends when we were kids, and even though then it was fake, He is real, and a rewarder of those who seek Him - the reward is His presence with you, and you can "feel" Him around you. He becomes truly your friend in the everyday, and He wants to be so... He even helps scatterbrained me find stuff I misplace. He becomes real the more you spend time with Him...

Beloved...

Aurora now lives with her biological father, and calls, refers to him as "Dad"

Sharon pays more attention to anything that distracts - and dumps the responsibilities on me.

My dad has little memory of me, partly because of the stroke, and I do not contact him much, because... what do I have to honor them with in this wreck I have made of my life?

But still....

He sings over me - and you - with great joy, because we seek Him!

I cannot stop man's rejection, but He will never leave nor forsake... maybe starting with His perspective would be a good start.to every day?
