I gained a little bit of self-insight yesterday, based on two completely unrelated incidents. I think about 90% of my actions, when interacting with people are based on recalling previous incidents. When I can't think of one such, I'm a bit flummoxed.

That I think I can understand. I imagine in those circumstances, when you just want to get home, you really, really don't want interaction with any stranger.

By coincidence, we had the mormons round yesterday too,

I chickened out and said the motorbike in the porch belonged to "my (pause) friend" rather than "my lesbian polyamorous girlfriend"

I don't think mormons are exactly against polyglomeracy. Some of them seem rather keen, in fact.

It is an expulsion offence within the official LDS church. There are breakaway churches that allow it. Possibly blind eyes are turned in some rural parts of Utah too...

However, in Utah, I never had anyone try and convert me!
