Yeah so I'm Chinese. Born in the US, I consider NYC my hometown. But I mean, I go to China every year to visit my grandparents, and basically my entire family lives in China, and my generation's the only one that was born outside of the country. I think you'll feel a lot better about it if you write about it, hun. I don't think it's too cliche for a college essay. And when you get to college, there will be tons of opportunities to study Chinese history from someone who's not your mom ;)

YEAH I MEAN LIKE. I don't necessarily want the culture stuff to end, I love studying about different cultures in anthro, and I mean, it's a part of the world. But dude it's got to stop being so annoying.
