SO I LIED. China does block LJ. Shizzles. There's just way too much to write about, the Olympics alone would probably take me fifty hours, and if I add in my little off-the-tangent remarks, even longer, AND I'M NOT MASOCHISTIC so I won't do that. But a basic overview was that I worked as a volunteer in the National Indoor Stadium, which had ( Read more... )

YOU WERE IN CHINA. WHY DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS. I'm sorry I fail ;_;

Welcome back, then. 8D
...and yes, China does block LJ. It's horrible, especially when I get bored in the 100 million degree August heat and the most interesting thing my grandparents have is piles of decade-old books collecting dust, an old sucky laptop and a huge plasma TV with random Chinese TV shows about the Qing dynasty. =/

Good luck with college. &hearts it sounds harsh. D:

lawwwl, I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL. That's how I am usually, when I go back, although my T.V.'s constantly on CCTV8 with the dramaaas.

BUT I MEAN. This year I was supabusy with what the olympics and such, PLUS I finally got used to texting in Chinese so I didn't have to hang out with my grandparents too much.

Haha. I get annoyed of the dramas sometimes though, they always seem to be about the same thing, or maybe it's just me. 8D I usually just surf the web and watch random vids on YouTube with my cousin :)

Olympics would have been so much fun &hearts but my parents didn't want to go 'cause of how many people would be there D: apparently, it wasn't that bad though.

THEY SO ARE. If it's China's, it's always going to be about overcoming difficult odds in a working-class society, and if it's Korea, it's always going to be like uh. Korean soapies, you know how they are.

Oh god there were. Especially since I was wearing the volunteer clothes, it was like, a freaking sea of the rudest sweaty&disgusting people I've ever seen, and I had to /smile/ at all of them. alskgh.
