the obligatory movie post
Youknow, I was actually super disappointed in the movie. HENCE, I WILL ORGANIZE MY THOUGHTS INTO TWO CATEGORIES:
1) Oh God The Small Things Killed Me Beyond Anything Else:
+ THE BLINKING. my god Bella are you that retarded as to have to BLINK THREE TIMES before understanding anything anyone says?
+ the complete and utter awkwardness between Bella and Edward. I mean, I understand that's how most relationships start out, but GOD you're freaking IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER what's wrong with you.
+ the fact that Bella smiles ONCE int he entire movie. ONCE. and she's supposedly blissfully in love. Blissfully? HA. which leads me to my next point...
+ absolute lack of transitioning between fear/hate and love. one moment Edward looks like he wants to puke at the sight of her, and the next he's all YOU ARE MY LIFE. srsly give me a break.
+ the fact that they TOOK OUT ALL THE PRETTY ROMANCE PARTS. like i'm not one for over-the-top sugary pieces of mush, but I'm pretty sure that meadow scene was important. ESPECIALLY SINCE THE ENTIRE BOOK WAS BASED ON THAT DREAM. which is really weird if you ask me but whatever. STILL. i guess that ties in with the whole no transitioning part
+ when Bella stomps past Edwad into the forest and they have that weird confrontation thing. i mean, i make fun of the books constantly but i just wish they'd stuck to the book. that whole scene was completely wrong and liek what was that I'M GOING TO STOMP PAST YOU, DROP MY BAG ON THE FLOOR AND TELL YOU WHAT I THINK YOU ARE MMKTHX. THEN I'M GOING TO TELL YOU I LOVE YOU.
+ the sparkles. wtfffff.
+ the fact that Bella's not passionate about anything,except when those two are making out and that last bit at the end which will go in the GOOD pile
2) The Things That Might Have Saved The Movie From Utter Failure:
+ BASEBALL SCENE. THAT IS ALL.
+ Alice being the perfectperfectperfect Alice ever
+ Rosalie smashing that bowl of salad
+ Jasper's Edward Scissorhands impression
+ Carlisle's amazing entrance as HOT!YOUNG! DOCTOR
+ AWKWARD MOMENT BETWEEN CHARLIE AND EDWARD
+ Laurent, James and Victoria. <33
+ the fight scene, of course.
+ such lols at the makeout-on-the-bed then Edward slamming into the wall then Bella with her legs open being like SORRY
+ Bella's freakout at the end when Edward was going to leave her. Honestly the best piece of acting Kristin Stewart put out the entire movie.
So yeah, about 50/50. Can't wait for New Mooon.
In other news, I hate colleges. THANKS FOR RUINING MY THANKSGIVING, SUPPLEMENTS.
