So the Elm Street Quilt novels are not mysteries? What kind of series is that? (I know, I should google.)
I'm reading that Swedish trilogy right now. I usually do not like books set in foreign countries, but it's not just set there -- it was written there, and the translation somehow gives it an even more gothic mystery novel feeling. The first one, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, was really good. I just started the second one.
Fiction? Chick-lit? I'm not sure how to describe it. I can't say I liked them all but I have enjoyed most of them. Sarah is at loose ends and is hired by Matt's client to help clean out her family estate in return for quilting lessons. As Sylvia's history is told, Sarah comes up with an idea that will help the lonely retired school teacher. first book
I've heard several comments about how good that book is. Guess I should check it out from he Library, eh?
I had not heard all the hype until I had already ordered the book. I guess it's being turned into a movie? Whenever all that hype starts, the book never seems to be able to live up to it.
Now that you've talked about that fiction book series, I do recall it, maybe. I haven't read it, though. Thanks for the link!
