I just want to say how glad I am the traffic wasn't busier. I had a friend who was riding down Lincoln Road when the same thing happened to him, and he was knocked straight into traffic.

So, not to scare you, but I'm glad you're (relatively) OK.

I know! No apology or anything! asshole. It could have been so much worse, except that my bike basket definitely protected me. And yeah, good thing there was no traffic, cause I was kind of just lying there in pain going WTF WAS THAT until the guy came up and helped me off the road.

What happened to your friend, is he okay?
