Does anyone have any resources (on-line would be best, but books as well) that describe alternative methods of reproductive control that women are using around the world (not focusing on people in the United States/Canada

we use all these manuals for Living India, especially the HIV/AIDS and Community Health manuals. I love their book for midwives. but...there you go, written by 3rd world health care workers for 3rd world heath care workers and citizens.
great topic! I wish I could help you but I know nothing. However, I'd call PP for resources. Am assuming you googled all sorts of combinations of the key words?
hey - there's a Mamas Night Out tomorrow, Monday, at Psycho Suzi's, 6-ish till whenever. spacecasemama is in town and will be there to meet everyone. Also one on Tues Sept 23, same place, 6:30pm-whenever, and that one is because carisis is in town to meet folks irl. You are heartily invited to both :)
I have nothing new to add, I went and grabbed the url for where there is no... and then clicked through to the comments... I just want to say i was so happy to realize earlier this year that they are available for free online
I'm not trying to be all happy, unrealistic about the problem of not having birth control options. I know that there are women all across the world who are unable to have any sort of control over their own bodies, both in terms of who they do and do not have sex with and when they do and do not bare children. But, I need to find some hope in the situation ... you know? Women have been controling their own reproductive health, with or without socitys blessing, for ... well since the begining of time. I'm hoping that there are a few pockets of places where this does happen underground, or knowlege is being passed on, or something.
