Koizora
This is the most recent J-movie that I watched. The movie meaning “sky of love” is based on a cell phone novel. Yep you heard it right, a cell phone novel. This was written by an anonymous Japanese woman who claims that her cell phone novel was based on her own experiences. This tragic love story was extremely popular in Japan and while the story was receiving millions of downloads, the readers were learning her heartache and struggles with her true love. The cell phone was successfully turned in a movie, drama series and manga. Now about the movie!
The story is about the love between a girl named Mika (Aragaki Yui) and her lover Hiro (Miura Haruma). The story begins with them being strangers but Mika suddenly realizes that her cell phone is missing (smells like fate J ) . She then realizing that she left in the school library. While she searches through the bookshelves, she hears her cell phone ringing. When she getting her cell phone she answers to a stranger…who knows her name.
The bond strengthens with them talking over the phone only giving information about herself…but what about him? When finally requesting for a meeting, he agrees.
When realizing the kind voice over the phone belongs to the blond-haired punk Hiro, Mika becomes hesitate and runs away. However, Mika watching Hiro’s actions when no one is watching, like watering the city park’s flowers, she realizes that there is something more to the boy with blond-dyed hair and ear-piercing. She then feels herself being pulled by Hiro's presence like a river washing her away.
After Mika and Hiro become a couple…they must face the struggles of being a couple. They must deal with a dirty ex-girlfriend, pregnancy and personal reasons for pushing each other away.
Overall I enjoyed this a lot. The best romance movie I have ever seen!
PLEASE WATCH IT!!!
