Sometimes nothing goes perfect until the first show. The second show. The last show. Sometimes you have to wince because the show before yours blows yours out of the water. Sometimes you have to wince because the show after yours is so much worse.

Don't tell anyone, but..
It doesn't matter. Things will go wrong. Directors and stage-managers will freak out. Don and george and Andrew have been doing this for so long, that they will know who is responsible for what. But what you are doing, cannot be for the director, or the SM, or your fellow actors, or even for the audience. This is your art. Whether or not you ever act again, this is your art, to make your own, to kick ass with, for you. True, with a lot of roles, the best job is the one that is unnoticed. ( ... )
