I started this morning by flushing the plug of my hot water bottle down the toilet and reversing the car into the garden wall. I haven't yet looked at the damage on the car (topical I hope) but fingers crossed that you can buy hot water bottle plugs - although given that mine haemorages rubber when I pour it out in the morning, it might be prudent

Oh no! I hope there is but a mere scratch on the car! Shocking news about your hot water bottle though! It's so hard to let go of things like that :)
