I know it has been forever, but I am finally updating. It has been a crazy crazy few weeks, and I dont think the crazyness is going to cease anytime soon. The big important thing is that I have moved into my very own apartment!! Does't matter that I wont be allowed to work for awhile cause my heart/stomach/head/who knows, freaked out at work. I honestly dont know why I am posting here right now, not so much bordrom anymore, but a way to hopefully stop the tears for just a minute or two. I have absoultly no support right now. None. So I hurt my back at work today. I was attempting to pick Dolly off the floor (yet friggin again) and I felt my back just rip. I must have pulled several mussles. But do to the extrame shortage, I had to finish out my shift. Including several more lifts, which made it feel like someone was stabbing me in the back. Now my back is throbbing. ( Read more... )

So yeah...I just got my first paycheck and it was not what I expected. I thought I was making at lease 8.50, but no, Im making a measly 8.00. Which is fine, but I am working with eldery residents, most of whom i shower and whip ass. That will not help me make my rent or my food. I now understand why aides have such horrible backs. Mine is killing me. One of my residents has issues standing up. She refuses too. So after her meds, she is like a heavy ass wet noodle. the other aid and I were trying to get her off the toliet and into bed, but she keept slipping down.
