I want to be Leon when I grow up

Gretacat and I got a glimpse of the front yard this morning when the human returned with the dogs from their morning walk. Imagine our awe when we spotted Leon, the big tom cat from next door, sitting proudly beside the fresh, bloody remains of a young squirrel. Even the human was impressed. She took her camera outside to record his feat, but

Wow! the hunters in my neighborhood never got a squirrel that I know of, at least. Nicky used to bring small birds and mice etc on a pretty regular basis. Since he didn't know which house he was supposed to belong to he brought them to all of us from time to time.
I hope Big Blonde stays out of trouble ( and the rest of you too ).

This is actually the second time I've seen Leon with a squirrel. What's equally impressive as the fact that he catches them is the fact that he eats them in their entirety. Good thing too. I did have a little chat with him to the effect that I did not want anything left in my yard for my dogs to roll in or snack upon!
