The human sometimes takes Big Blonde and Smiley Dog for car rides, and despite Big Blonde's complaints about how sick these make her, both dogs get really excited about these. So perhaps the human thought she was giving us a treat when she bundled us into strange little boxes and then put us in the car. Perhaps. It is really hard to figure out what

Oh, poor, poor kitties. Such indignities! I hope that by now you are fully recovered from you experience! At least you got treats. When my kitties get poked and prodded they don't get treats although the poker and prodder does attempt to play and make nice with them a bit when he is done. Take good care of yourselves and stay out of danger and you won't have to do it again for a long time. BTW how is Big Blonde's skin?

The human snuck the cold wet stuff into our ears while we were trying to settle into out evening meal again this evening. The only thing good that can be said about this new routine of hers is that she does seem to feel guilty about it afterwards and tries to compensate with extra attention, brushing, etc. She says it's all supposed to make our ears itch less, but we both are still scratching, so it isn't having an instant effect.

Big Blonde seems to be getting her coat back. No doubt she will be getting compliments about how pretty she is again soon. Just what she needs to swell her already big blonde head! Her skin is still very dry but Dr. Pink says that it no longer appears to be infected. So, no more lyme sulfer dips for the time being. The human seemed very pleased about that. Her actual words were "Good. She still reeks from the last time!" And it's true. Even I can smell her coming a mile off, and I am not nearly as scent oriented as GretaCat!

PS, I forgot to say it is wonderful to have a new picture of you and Greta. Y and S are asleep on the back of the chair behind me or I would share it with them.
