Tabris even before they were sent away was free spirited, though when she did act up it was always with the welfare of others and not her own. When they were living among the humans she worked alongside healers, even though she wasn’t one. Her generally cheerful attitude helped to keep patients calm when they needed to be. In times of war she would do her best to keep innocents from harm, usually leading children to places where they could hide.
When things turned for the worst she was caught by the Fujikawa family and has served as their protector ever since. The first masters tricked her into allowing the ring to be forged so as to prevent her from being caught by someone else who would harm her.
The Fujikawa family has always treated her well, passing her down the family line to the child who is the most caring, attributing this tradition to their fortunes. Even though she’s bound she’s treated like part of the family and not just a cherished pet. Tabris has never forgotten that she was tricked into serving them, but as long as they don’t harm her she is in no hurry to rise against them.
Her new master is the youngest in the family, her mother having died in a car accident. Tabris was in her grandmother’s care at the time, and when the will was read was handed to Hitomi, despite the girl’s young age (She was thirteen at the time). Since then Hitomi’s life’s been in danger, her father has tried to kill her on a few occasions, pissed that the angel went to her instead of him where it should have gone. Hitomi and Tabris both have since left Japan, going overseas so Hitomi can study (Hitomi’s now 19 years old), and Tabris stays with her in the role of guardian not feeling safe in Japan.
