She started out as a Genderswapped Kaworu from NGE, but I was having too much fun playing with her so she’s different now.

I have nothing to do with NGE (Which was where the idea first came from) nor am I Kamei Eri, just using her for the face for Tabris/Katya.

Tabris is now two entities meshed into one, the first being the angel Tabris, who was wounded badly in a fight with an unnamed demon. She was found after the battle by a scientist who had just lost his daughter who was about the same age as Tabris looked. He took her in hoping that he could bring her back to life like he couldn’t do with his daughter, whom now exists as cloned ‘shells’ or ‘dolls’ which are used for various purposes, some of which are used to pilot ‘machines’ used to take on other angels. Luckily the project isn’t really off the ground.

NERV found out that she was there and took her from her caretaker, planning on using her to take out the other ‘angels’ that were attacking. Since she was still contained they put her in the storage area they kept the ‘dummies’ soul-less dolls they used to control their ‘EVAs’. Tabris was able to find out that the ‘dummies’ as the clones were called had just enough of a spark of life to be considered living by angel’s terms. In a fit of rage she tried to free one. Her attempt bound her with the ‘doll’ she was trying to free, and weakened her to much to fight back.

Had one good side effect, hid her from the demon who was searching for her in order to finish the job. While she healed, the ‘doll’ ran away, taking her with them, carried within. Tabris rested, trying to regain her strength, allowing the doll, who took on the name Katya to experience life for herself.

The two have since then been recaptured by the scientists that locked her up in the first place. She’s able to call on her power, which they call an AT field, though she tries not to use it too much. They use her and Katya to pilot one of their ‘sleeping giants’ a machine she has yet to figure out, all she knows is something about it feels wrong.

After sessions with the machines she’s usually weakened. The doctors have her on medications, trying to boost whatever’s wrong, it’s the doll that’s weakening, the angel trapped inside’s still too weak to survive on their own, but the doctors and Tabris have yet to figure it out (They’ll just swap her to another doll if they did). The medications they give her though, make her feel worse; preventing her from adjusting to the new body, and allowing her to spread her wings for more than a few minutes. It also prevents her from being able to talk to her kind. She can hear them, just not respond.

While in NERV’s care she’s able to figure out that the creatures they’re calling angels aren’t. While this is the case Tabris isn’t torn with the idea of killing them, since they are a threat to humans. Though she’s still determined to figure out how to separate the two of them, while keeping them both alive.
