so my commute to and from work is now 45 minutes each way, which was nothing in Melbourne (I used to drive twice that sometimes to go and hang out with friends) but seems like forever in Canberra Standard Time.

1. Saw The A-Team and it was frickin' awesome. So much better than Iron Man 2. Just a lot of improbably, implausible fun. Though I must caveat with I never watched the TV show, so I don't know how people are going to deal with that. It appears to be an origin story though.

Went to IKEA. This now constitutes a whole weekend away, what with the 3.5 hour drive on either side.

We did catch up with some Sydney-type friends, but really? It was all about the IKEA.

I'm wearing the most terrifying pair of maternity pants at the moment. They look like normal pants from the back & sides, in normal pant material, but have this huge elastic scoop out of the front that goes down to almost between the legs and up to almost under my boobs.
