I basically couldn't bear to choose one or the other!

I've wanted to blog about radio for ages - I pretty much listen to radio 4 constantly when I'm not at work and there are so many fascinating programmes about stuff I never dreamed I'd be interested in.

Those are great topics. Can't wait to see what you pick for radio programmes (though I'm sure I know one;)).

Thanks! I'm really looking forward to it.

I can't wait to see what I pick either, since it all basically depends on the radio 4 schedules for the next however-long (I'm relying on you BBC). My embarassing addiction to a certain long-running radio soap is likely to feature though, you're right. ;)

Oh, yay, I'm glad you're in on this!

I'm always looking for new children's books to read -- they have the great advantage of being short! ;) And I still remember that folk-music program on Radio 4 you put me onto a couple of years ago. If only it weren't on the middle of the workday in my time zone, heh.

I really need something to get me posting regularly again, and having this focus is perfect because I'm a bit rubbish at talking about myself!

Anyway, between the amount of radio I listen to and the amount of children's books I own, I ought to have plenty of material. :D
