I must admit, while I love my job (and the travel), it would be nice to come home and have someone special to spend some time with. I've made a lot of new friends here, but not that "special someone" yet

Maybe he'll be at the library. Or a college class. You don't have to be enrolled, just go to some classes you're interested in. :)

How did you make new friends so quickly? I'm trying to revamp my life and I need to make new friends, but I find it very difficult as I get older for some reason. :(

No, not yet. I've been so bogged down at work, I haven't even had a chance to check my journal lately (sorry for such a tardy reply).

I did go on a blind date over the weekend, but I don't think he's the one. He was good-looking (and quite a gentleman), but something just didn't "click," know what I mean?
