Can I get another count on who is planning to come? We are leaving Friday August 10th, I would guess around 5 (although we have two cars so one could leave a little later if required) , then coming back Sunday - check out is 2 so I imagine we'll be back in the city by 5.

Also, who has camping equipment?

Michael and I are coming. We have no equipment, though would be up for chipping in on some, of course.

coming, i actually HAVE a tent, as my mom is bringing one for me the weekend before...

i think my parents have multiple tents, actually... judging from the other comments, maybe i should ask them about that?

also, who's is this second mystery car?

Multiple tents would definitely be a good thing! We're kind of short.

We're going to have to rent the second car. But since it's the weekend it shouldn't be too expensive split among 8 or so people.

You're most definitely sick of hearing this, but I can't come unless we get the cottage (I should hear today at the latest, my mom is dealing with my aunt). The reason for this is I don't have an inflatable mattress, which I would definitely need among any other camping gear; if anyone has an extra one I would still love to come!

Ok, current cottage situation.

I have not confirmed, but it is most likely that my cousin Graeme has the cottage that weekend. I'm waiting for him to get back to me. There is still the small possibility that he wouldn't mind us descending on his vacation time to sleep there for a couple of days, and extra people would camp around the cottage, but I can't say for sure. Basically it looks like not the cottage. I will let you know.

That said, I still want to come camping, and apparently an air mattress is available as long as there's space for a double! I am willing to share!

That's too bad about the cottage. Camping has its advantages too, though. I'd feel bad if we took over your cousin's vacation time!

If you have your hands on an air mattress though that sounds good, and I am certainly taking mine! They'll potentially take up the entire tent but who is about the complain about having tents that are entirely bouncy? Not me.
