Today, I was driving home from Cait's house after internship, down a back road in Boxford filled with extremely affluent families. I realized that on my arduous drives home, I play a little game with myself. I'll sit there and pretend that I don't live an hour away, but my parents are happy, my car is paid for, and I'm living in one of these

dear katy, though you see this gilded grouping, it's all a facade. trust me, it's not worth anything in the long run. you shouldn't envy this stuff cause its all junk. me having lived on both sides of the spectrum(piss poor and ridiculously rich), i know the real values lie within yourself, and katy, you have all the qualities you'll ever need. i hope everything works out for your future, but even if it doesn't, remember that there's someone out there that admires you for who you are.(that's me, if ya didn't get it)
