November's WIRED magazine has two really good article about manga and the evolution of American distributors. lol, yeah, i think sailor moon was around before dbz was because i don't remember seeing dbz until later. i used to have mixxzine! even smile! i kept them somewhere but mom's probably thrown them out by now. :( you didn't like the manga style of sailor moon? i much prefer it over the anime style. i like how simplistic but artistic it is.

I was a subscriber because it was free. lol. still goo mag though, imo.

I think i remember reading somewhere, that distributors here would flip the picture, so American readers would read it left to right. well.. used to. i'm sure if they kept doing that now, some problems would occur. like scars on the wrong side of the face. (kenshin xo0)<--oro?

that makes me remember when i first started reading scanlations! and how i had no clue what was going on cuz the way i read it made the dialogue backwards/twisted/odd. even though the pages were in the right order, the words would be backwards. oh to be a n00b again.

haha yeah. Its kinda funny because I got so used to reading manga that I had a hard time reading american comics.
