The one thing that has bugged me about this past election-aside from the constant commercials, Obama being so passive and non-committed to the concept of same sex marriage-I think he should of been more supportive

I’m still stuck on the argument that gay marriage is an insult to “real” marriages and an insult to God. No one has told me how changing THE LAW to say any two consulting adults affects my marriage. Or the argument that it was not what God had intended. So, they aren’t going to get married in your local church. So, are all marriages not preformed by a priest/clergy not valid also? Because I consider myself faithful, but I got married by a J.P. in a BINGO hall. And again, what does that have to do with the law?
