I miss this place like crazy, and catching up in the evening is not the same. I get home and my mind is dead and I cannot remember all the things I wanted to say. I'm pretty sure not journaling is going to be detrimental to my brain long-term

i have been invited to, but have never gone to, Those Parties. not because i don't approve of Those Things or Those Parties, but because i don't want to know what my friends are buying nor do i want them to know what i am buying. or more specifically, not buying. ;)

anyway. so i just don't go because i don't. lol

Ha. I probably would not attend another one. It was fairly discreet as far as people knowing what other people got; you went into a separate room to place your order with the saleslady. And then she tries to get you to take what she has on hand rather than what you really want to buy, but if you stand firm she'll go with your actual choice and ship your damned vanilla lip gloss. So you walk out with nothing and no one knows what you got. Except possibly your hostess who finds out how much money her party made and that's what determines how much credit she gets.

But I just did not care for the overall feel of the party. Lots of cursing by the saleslady to the tune of "And this is Tom. Tom will &#@& the $%!# out of you!!!" That's a direct quote.
