My top suggestion would be an Alaskan cruise, but I'm pretty sure they only go in the summers because of the ice. Next up would be Tahoe. If you book it now there are a lot of openings on WorldMark, and the points are only 3000 for 5day/4night. PLUS it's got the added benefit of being close enough you'll have $ left to afford a ski lesson or other activity, which is what makes the trip super fun/memorable. If money isn't a problem the last option I'd suggest would be an all out luxery trip to New York. Seeing some of the touristy places in the snow would not only be probably cheaper, but it would also be EMPTY and therefore more romantic. :) Good Luck! Call me if you need help. I live for this stuff. ...OH... this is Maricel, not Fred. I just realized I was logged in on his computer. oops
lol it's funny when i start reading and i see fred's face and voice and then all of a sudden it's really you! i've been told i might not like New York....b/c of my run in with Chicago :S. We're hoping for a little bit of lux (ie good room service) and entertainment. I just don't know!!!! Tahoe has been suggested. Winter activity that i might enjoy..snowmobiling. skiing type things not so much (i hate the lifts!)
If you're going to the most bang for your buck, while feeeeeling like you spent a LOT (Room Service, Shows, GREAT food) then a cruise is definitely the way to go. 11 -11 you said right? I'm going to start looking for you. What's your budget? (You can email me this if it's too personal)
Newport? I only know of Newport Beach in CA....Tell me more about this "new england" you speak of Chels (i'd kinda love to do something totally different...ie i've never been east of the mississippi and north of florida)
