Alex took me to Martini's(italian) on George St for my birthday(and I got serenaded by the waiters), I think they do lunch...there's also a nice veggie pub, the Porter Bar, which we went to for lunch one time and I very much enjoyed!

Oh! I love Bath. One thing *definitely* worth doing is the "Spas Ancient and Modern" package that the tourism office does - it gets you entrance to the Roman Spa museum, lunch in the pump room and then entry into the big modern spa, which is awesome!

I really recommend doing it in that order too. This way you are all nice and relaxed before going to dinner. The daily walking tour with the volunteer guides (Mayor's Guides?) is also quite good.

As for other eats, we really enjoyed Cafe du Globe (Moroccan) and Aqua (modern Italian).
