These are things that I love this month but also always:

Benedict Cumberbatch & his goddamn voice
Reading & Audiobooks

If you like these things - and if you are a human and think you do not you are probably mistaken - then you must listen to this clip of the sexiest passages wherein Mr. Cumberbatch narrates Casanova. I link you to that page only ( Read more... )

First, I'd like to say I'm pleased that you and LJ seem to have worked out your differences, i.e, I actually received notifications about BOTH of these posts.

Yummy, yummy. I shall certainly investigate these closer when I'm not "working." Although the audio-only doesn't seem to work for me but the YT does. I'd better get to them before ACTA swoops in and kills the internet.

Probably they're just happy to have me back. I've been receiving all of my comments for two days! I mean, I assume I have been.

Too bad, the audio cuts out all of the boring "plot" parts. If ACTA kills the links I may have to put serious thought into eventually giving Audible the $6 for the entire book. Lucky the Rupert Graves link came with a download.

I really hope Benedict Cumberbatch doesn't taste like soot and poo! kavieshana January 31 2012, 03:15:38 UTC
I had to look up Salad Fingers because I'd never heard it before. Are you meant to get very high before watching it?

All very well and good with the sexy, but have you seen Benedict reading a children's book called "Little Red Hen"?

Awwww. Is this some sort of series of actors reading for kids? I love how in real life he's got such a lisp but he hasn't any when he's reading.

Indeed. swankyfunk February 3 2012, 08:32:42 UTC
Hmm, I don't know! It would be an adorable series if it does exist. My five-year-old self certainly wouldn't object to hearing deep English accents lulling me to sleep with tales about barnyard animals. Hell, my old-year-old self wouldn't mind either.
