My course is graduating from Bournemouth today! As dull as graduations are, I wish I were there with them. I paid 20 pounds for my name to be read out, otherwise I would have had to pay over 30 to move my graduation date to next year in case I were able to attend then. Thieves.

*shakes fist at evil prices of rent and non-existant dying rich great-aunt*

It's not that my parents aren't kind, or that they're making my life miserable. But they do have this uncanny ability to make me feel like an overgrown child without meaning to.

So it seems when I do get a raise after my post-probationary evaluation, which my editor (D) says will be very soon, I will only be receiving a 2% increase. I earn $10 an hour, of which 2% is .20, adding to a grand total of $10.20 per hour.
