First Tournament Today~
And we got first in our pool :D It was plenty of fun...although in the
morning, my brother neglected to tell us that he had work today and so
I ended up almost being late -.-; And the pool we were in was weak XD
It was pretty bad. Anyway, we now get pizza for winning :D
In other news, I think Domini is starting to get a little...uh..."competitive" if you will. XD It's kind of funny, she just wants to be the best on the team. But, she's not willing to put forth the effort it takes to do that, she thinks she can do all this, that she knows everything she can, but she doesn't do worth crap. She's missed who knows how many practices, she just is an annoyance to Kreuger and she just has this air of thinking she's all that, and she gets all cocky about it. Hey, I know I can't play basketball, I can't shoot worth crap, but I can defend. That's one thing Domini sucks at. But, she's better than me at offense, which is not saying a lot since we never usually get the ball, it's just kind of sickening to think that she lets basketball come inbetween friendship. It's just a frigging game o.o and please, please, please get over yourself. You have yet to know how to really play basketball, and so do I.
Domini rushes into all this head-on thinking she can take it. Ya know what? She can't. She doesn't know how to lead a team, how to take responsibility. She only knows whatever someone tells her, and then she converts that into something she thinks she knows, and thinks she can boss everyone around about. She's too soft, afraid to do something wrong, or screw up. But that in and of itself, is a screw up. If you can't take responsibility for what you do or go all out, what kind of teammate are you? You are just concerned with yourself, almost self-centered. Revolving in your own little world of thinking your the best. Once you get so caught up in yourself, nothing else matters, and you just slowly evolve in to this thing that no one will know. You start to think you're a leader, but truly, you.are.not.
You must first learn to follow if you want to lead.
