Ah, math. Welcome to my world. Well, I guess word problems involving "distance = velocity x time" and finance is one thing, and algebra's another. I should lend you my word problem book. Then you'll be happy that all we're doing is algebra. X3 Number crunching is still a lot less painful than "Mr. X. invested $50,000 in Stock 1 and Bond 1, at 6% and 9% respectively.
