This is awesome...

This is pretty amazing! Can you imagine how all this operates? How do they lock each car in its cubicle for safety? Talk about German efficiency! The two photos below were taken at a new parking garage in Munich. Reminds me of the [Old Republic] Senate chamber in Star Wars (episodes II & III).

I'd imagine it'd be a big problem if the retrieval mechanism in the center broke down. "Temporarily out-of-order. Your vehicle will be available in approximately 6-8 hours."

Cool nonetheless.
